Don't even try it. The short range and slow fire rate will be the ultimate downfall. Trust me, I've tried.

And yeah, keep the Redemption. It's a good doom killer.

I kinda hate rockets, it is just too easy to blow it in your face. Tizona+codename combo worked well a few years ago :/

Up to you what to do about missiles, but I can teach you how to avoid death by own missile. Sorta.

I can't see much change: guns didn't change, back than Phoenix was the etalon, now there are variations for phoenix with same dmg/energy cons. Rockets are the same, there are some new ships but same stats.

In 2005 i used tizona + diamondback against phoenix all the time Flying a tempest.

I would apprichiate that missile training, when you got time and i got money.

Seriously though. The huge range is a very big advantage over codename MKIIs. I'll show you what I mean sometime, or Fraise can. She's mean with her guns.

Those codenames are worthless in pvp, alien guns are best & Coalition Gattlings are the only guns for pvp if ya ask me.

Guns with 8,33 refire rate are totally not my world. I like the Que-itors but than i can only use missiles in the 2 class 9 slots.

Well if i go guns only, any class 8-9 weapon that matches the que-irtor (3.03 refire, 1000 m/s, 1000m if i remember correctly, at workplace right now)?

Only class 10's have that kind of speed and range. Sorry.

Than i will temporarily get some cannonballs for the class 9 slot, and a new ship. Need to farm for armor class 10 though. Unless someone got some cataclysm/nemesis for sale.
