Desired activity : Explorer, (second character Patrol/Defender?)
Freelancer background : I've been playing Freelancer for about 9 years now on and off. My first introduction to the modding scene was actually Crossfire 1.3 a while back. I also played on Discovery, and I believe Freeworlds. At the time, I was busy with school and work, so I did not stay on the MP for more then 2 months with any particular mod. I'm the type of player who can really immerse himself in this virtual world and pretend I'm really in space. As cheesy as that may sound, few games truly have that affect on a player, and this mod has come a long way since 1.3, and so has my ability to drop my jaw in awe. Having not played in a while, I will certainly need to improve my shooting, and get a new mouse haha. My general play time can range from 1-6 hours per day, 10-30 hours a week. Long story short, I'm unable to work right now due to a severe car accident with neck and back injuries, so I've got plenty of free time, but plenty of physical therapy.

Dear Mr Aton Kysar,
The SAC is glad to receive your application. You look as very promising candidate and what you wrote make us feel that you could be a great addition to this crew.
We hereby accept you as a Recruit of the SA and, for a period of two weeks, you will submit to the Recruitment Trial Period to eventually pass the Graduation Test and become a regular member of the Silver Arrows. Until then, you shall not use the clan tag (SA_).

(btw you'll have to send me a pic of that new face - avatar - of yours so i can start building up your forum siggy ! i'll also as kyou to pic one of the many ship models we got here. if you wish to submit your own feel free to but pm me first for specific instructions about file format and lighting to avoid me a headache...

And a last tip : CF is like riding a bike so don't worry about getting back to speed (altought i admit many people never learned how to ride a bike...

I like the Deathblade ship ALOT and probably have the Inner Core Alien Gate. If you wanted to take a look google Revan, Star Wars character from the KOTOR series. I don't know who creates ship models, but KOTOR is some of the best space stuff ever created in my opinion. I would love to have some type of Revan mask (as the character chooses male or female in the game, most pictures are a masked of him/her) faded in with the pictures, like an outline of the eyes or mask. If you're looking for word colors, purple and goldish orange highlight around. I appreciate the time and effort. I'm jumping into the game to start exploring and see if I can get some training in tonight. See you in space!

I LOVE KOTOR TO DEATH! I mean it is the best game series since FFVII. The story is epic, the game broke recrds and made history, and no amount of graphics or special effects in games these days will EVER compare. I was always lightside, being such a big fan I don't know why I never played through dark side, I guess I have a heart and rely feel bad about killing Juhani in the beginning. I've turned evil at the end with Bastila and killed everyone at the end a few times, but yeah. I just like the dark side appeal of all the aftermath art I find on google.

Well I just screwed up royally and did not save my Accounts folder or whatever, and was helping another player try to trouble shoot a connection problem so I reinstalled everything from scratch to do what he was doing. So.....bye bye Revanchist character and 14 million, bunch of level 10 guns, Wolfhound ship....damn it all to hell I'm pissed. I'm MAKING, not using SA_Revan, my other name will be Bastila. I'm pretty upset and don't feel like playing for a few hours, I'll be back later =/

try search swat for util id changer. if is your id stored somewhere on your pc, it can fid it.

If you didn't already installed and started playing on a new installation of CF on the server, you can still get/use your old ID.
So, it will still work if you arrived to clean install everything again, while you haven't tried to enter the server list.
Search for "Freelancer ID Changer" tool, there might still be 2 names there, but only the one uploaded by Michael (me) works, and has a tutorial for it.
Also, good choice for your avatar now, I prefer it than the other, and it's more reasonable for your char as , male.

Haha, thanks. And eh, it's not a big deal. I mean it kind of is, but I'll just start over. Hopefully I can help this other player trouble shoot an issue and have a battle buddy Hate to say it, but no one ever really seems to want to do missions together, which is what I really long for in the CF MP experience, and why I joined this clan. Not saying you guys don't, I just haven't caught you online yet =P
I also have a question regarding the SA_Revan character I made. As much as I would love to start building that character, I really think I'm to wait until I pass training? And yeah, I need some navigational experience. I want to fly around and explore, without getting shot and killed in 4 hits by an NPC.

yes, first graduation. Next SA tagged chars ... and classics missions are easy to do solo. Where really come handy company is with hunting Ancient Drones and in Inner Core (I mean this for fighting with NPCs).

And I did try to look using FAM, even recovered lost data on my hard drive using NTSF undelete (amazing program btw), nada =/ I guess since I uninstalled the game using the actual uninstaller, it's gone

if you were expecting to recover your old 1.3 chars, forget it, all chars were wiped at 1.8 release last year.

no no ... search thread on swat Sam. Revan tried help other new guy out of connection troubles and due this lost actual made char (next time will be wise save/print/backup ID asap ). ... I not saw many times someone want so much help others!
