Freelancer background : I have been playing freelancer Vanilla on and off for 2 years now and also had a small experience of CF 1.7 breifly.I have started playing 1.8 and really enjoy it.as im just getting back into the swing of things agin i am a little rusty but am finding that it is all coming back to me with a little practice.as i have recently started from scratch on 1.8 i am a bit of a novice in terms of level and ship however i am advancing at a very fast rate.as a member of the clan i would greatly perservere to participate in event etc.I am loyal and have read and fully understand the clan rules.

sorry about online earlier, i was about to join an event, then ended up heading off to do some training with a friend for pvp. (been trying to set up a time when we're both online for a while since he said he had some tricks to show me, and the fact the he was actually on when i was made me jump at the chance)

I apologize for not being more attentive, but i was kinda preoccupied.

Do u thinkk i should buy the sabre?

My advice would be to not rush into a ship. I started playing again a few weeks ago and I've gone through a Starflier, Defender, Swashbuckler, Dromedary, Liberty Cruiser, Bullpup MK3 and now the Shroud. That's a lot of money to be spending on ships. It's smarter to look around, ask peoples' opinions of particular ships, look around on the Swat forums and see what suits your style of play best.

And always remember you can have multiple characters and ships...

So you can keep one that you know you like, and still get others...

I recommend making an SP character to try out ships with...

Inflkt (uhh, its really difficult nick ) ... Sabre is not bad ship ... but you can try Shroud. It is standard and very good ship for fighting (hope that you as SA Recruit can but this ship in

Yea i no sabre is probably not great now compared to all these new ships but do u or the clan want me to get a shroud?

Find a ship that you enjoy and like yourself, and find convenient!

Everyone will give you advice about such and such ship to get, but in the
end, you are the one flying it

With more experience and time, you may develop taste for specific ships
(more agile, more powerfull, more torpedoes, etc...) that suit your flying
style better

Ok yea thanks.what ship would you say is very powerfull yet small and agile alot like that half sabre ship (cant remember what its called could be dagger) style shape?

Inflkt: you wrong understand what I say ... I only recommended you one good ship which is near New York. This ship is in clan system (CFPD - Crossfie Police Department) but we (SA-CFPD) are allies and you can free buy this ship.

In clans systems can be different clan rules for ships or equipment to buy. You can ofc ignore/break those rules, but in MP you can expect sooner or later some troubles

And Faaby is right, there is not "the best" ship for players. ... I myself tried in MP 10-15 ships with good references (and I want try more ) before I selected those which fit best my style .

... + you are new in CF 1.8. ... Explore man! There is much fun and beauty in CF universe. You need also do your own mistakes bcos that way you can learn more and faster. And most important, you lost huge amount of fun if you will know all before you found it myself. Ofc we can help you and make you company in dangerous places but you first need know and try those yourself. Believe me, I played more time as freelancer alone in MP and I never regretted that time.

Yea im planning on first making some decent cash of freighting in custodian then im guna go and explore.had alot of fun today ,zeroth,vale,and some others took me over to sol and yea that was a big trip but so great seeing so much.yea i do understand what your saying now,thanks. I"ll probably look at makinga few more chars aswell just to get a taste of everything

If you like more fighting .... try missions in Vega system. You can also sell there Escape pods.

I personally like stomping the CSF in X instead of the Outcasts in Vega. The pods are worth 150k instead of 100k and they're harder to fight, but you also can get powerful codename weaps! But, keep in mind, killing CSF makes all pirates hate you. Your call mate!

I had the chance to run a recruitment trial for inflkt today.

I gave him a series of questions and pvp situations.

Waiting on official word from Arrow before posting official trial success thread.
