I like it Orion!
I think the Silver band around gives more contrast (on your patch anyway lol)

i like the silver ring but the spacing between letters should be fixed for every callsign. This way TWC is not uber super large while Rasann is twice as smaller due to twice more letters to fit in the same space...

And if you ask : yes the top artwork IS the goal ! the cooler our clan and promo stuff is, the more people are getting interested in the SA (at least dare to look at our MG) !

That's just marketing... hehe (i doubt other CF clans got so much look in their siggies and logos (except PX which is an *.svg image stolen from the webz)

and yes i've done a few pixel by pixel image (the largest was 36x36 and is a kart made for Turbo Sliders) :

Anywayz How do i get the insignia with my name horizon and the obey the rules.. Don't know much about all that copy and paste stuff or fourm stuff for that matter

Alright, Horizon and Raiden, your patches are pretty much done at this point just waiting for some input on the finishing touches...

I've reverted the patches back to the somewhat original format with black borders, but with some tweaks and FINALLY, you'll be proud of me Sam, I've mastered masks in PSP enough to put a cloth weave texture on them now. Anyway, with out further ado, here's an example of my patch:



If everyone is happy with this, I'll redo all current and semi-active pilot's patches as such and post them here.

Why is everyone listed as being in the Protector Fleet?

Bcs we all are there (or should to be ) ... all other wings and others formations can change during time.

1) The weaved texture is maybeTOOOOOOO intense (can you make the weaved layer more transperant cause now we barely see the text and the cool images ) (i love making you do everything over again... )

2) I can help with wing assignment and i'll explain once more how it works in the fleets :
Protector Fleet : Every VHF or Cappies (except Forlon's ships but he can be a special unit of the fleet anytime)
Assault Fleet : Everyone in Omega-Wing (excluding me but i can be a special unit)
ASF Commisionned Fleet : Everyone with their ASF specificly licensed VHFs and Capships. This fleet is under my Command as ASF Fleet-Commander.

(for the moment, i'd ask that no one makes new ASF chars cuase there might be changes discussed at SWAT to rethink the whole ASF/CSF and clan linking... Hopefully it could make a better distinction between regular clans and the ASF and CSF factions...)

Meh. Gotta disagree Sam, I took the texture's intensity well into account before I finalized the patches, otherwise I would have made it even lighter... But of course, then you run into the problem of it barely showing up or even at all. Unless you have a really crappy monitor or running low-res on your desktop, IMHO it's a non-issue. It's why I changed my patch,(with it's new nifty background image) why I did it first and why I used it as my "guinea-pig test" for the new changes and appearance. Unless others have complaints about it, I don't feel it's a problem.

As far as the fleet assignments... Blah. Sorry, but even that is too much work for me to want to deal with anymore, much less information I have access to anymore. Again... If you want to go to that length, I'll give you the artwork/files and you can do them.

No no, criticism with constructive comments is fine good sir. I'm not so high minded to not take constructive criticism, even from someone far younger than I in a certain subject I'm not well versed in.

As for the being dead thing well... Take note I was "declared KIA in the Inner Core", officially the SAC has never found my body or evidence of my destroyed ship.

I could possibly be... anywhere. Our galaxy's awefully big to get lost in and freak cosmic accidents like getting worm-holed to the other side of a galaxy are never reported because you often don't hear from such people ever again...
