Alert level display

The Silver Arrows Command released today a new display on its neural net page. The SAC Alert Level can now be consulted by any visitors to know what is going on with alien activity in our galaxy.

The SAC will keep monotoring closely the alien activity around our colonies and report it to the citizens.

There are five levels of alert, from highest to lowest :

SEVERE : Invasion Alert ! Come help us defend mankind !
HIGH : Alien activity near colonized systems, be prepared !
ELEVATED : Alien activity is alarming.
GUARDED : Alien activity around their systems.
LOW : Alien activity is almost inexistant.

For SEVERE and HIGH levels, the SAC will provide a precise location.

Keep an eye out and report any suspicious activity to the SAC !

I've gotten reports ladies and gentlemen from [UR]GrandAndreasK the other night of NOMADS operating in a previously secured Altair system, Gargarin! This needs to be investigated and reported ASAP, as this system previously did not have any reported alien activity operating there. Good hunting and godspeed my comrades! Cool

If there is anything I can do to help, just ask, the only thing I must say, it'll take me a while to get to altair with one of my chars so It'll take some time fixing.

(Does it ever get fixed? I mean would they just keep appearing and there is no way to stop? And then one day OP just says hold on... Lets not have the nomads here anymore. or is there a set number, an d once they are dead... their dead.)

I'm not sure if this is a permanent "dwelling" of the Nomads or this is part of the Dynamic Universe yet FUD, regardless, it needs to be further investigated.

As far as if they just keep appearing, yea, I'd imagine so. That's why I need you or anyone else to verify if this is a random invasion or a change in alien activity in that system, as the last time I was through there surveying back in 1.8, it was clear of Nomad activity.

2Ryleous: I'm almost sure, that I meet there light Nomad patrols when I first time explored this system (before I joined our clan) but it is little old information Very Happy

That may have been back in 1.81 Forlon, therefore it may have changed in that release... Regardless, Grand says there is a story there in the bar related to the Nomads, I'm going to go check it out.

Alright Admiral, I've confirmed a Nomad AND a Dom'Kavash presence in Gagarin! HOWEVER... Due to stepped up Coalition patrols and many Dark Reign Ion Cannon installations around the system, I don't think they will require our assistance in keeping alien threats in check anytime soon! biggrin

Gotta admire the Coalition sometimes, they are some determined and resourceful people! (even if they are a bunch of commies LOL biggrin

)

I'm going to step down our threat level back to 2 in light of this investigation. Keep on your toes though pilots! Cool

Nomad activity in the Freeport 7 system increased drastically. They have also taken to attempting to dock-rape people entering the system.
