SWAT is releasing the latest CF version TOMORROW ! Be ready to download it !

Yes, well.... good news


Just 1 thing... if everyone is until max lvl 40... even my char with 2 Bills $...
Noone can get kileld in NY again
And also everybody is protected from RP, as they can't do RP ! Very Happy
Noob protection works for everyone and we can also enter any clan systes... O.o

What great timing too. Does that mean 1.82 is a whole new mod that we have to download and if there are any remains of 1.81 on your computer it will not compete with it.
And did you say anything about the AV problem.... Because I didn't see it there.

Well crap, guess I better roll out the 1.82 maps then... They are done, I was just hoping to get a megamap of all three sectors on one map done too in time... *sigh* The Xeno Field Guide is gonna delay the megamap unfortunately.

Well... the release failed...
The server didn't really updated to the last version, and now have some issue whatever OP's doing, even using the same 1.81 server and client versions.

humm don't worry, it didn't worked temporarly, now it works !


There're already 10 players online...

And I love having lvl 100 ! Very Happy even if you have 1960 M you only have lvl 98... heh.

The hull shield energy bar colors are more intense, arena is on blue-purple, not so lighted up, the new cityscapes are on, the name and info on the radar of the Repair droids are now visible !, etc etc etc.

I downloaded and installed, all with activation was ok. But I do not have SP menu options Evil or Very Mad ... UFF, I had to do something wrong but dunno what Sad ...


MP I played a little and it looks good. Also sector maps for hostile IC is updated with repair buy small rings and text. Also Arena has nice blue background.

UPDATE:
Michael: OP worked enough to make those buttons dissapear... Very Happy SP is not available for this version of the mod.
Crossfire 1.82 DO have SinglePlayer option ! Once on the main launcher, click on "LAUNCH CF Singleplayer" and you will have SP !!!! And if you click on the Multiplayer option, you only have the MP button

One important info for creating more chars:

OP:
the server is running again, a fix is getting applied right at the first time you use the launcher
meanwhile i consider this "bug" good as it will prevent that new players try to connect to the server without launcher

well you can play now, server is up and running

but you have to be careful with the char creation
you can create up to 10 chars now but if you create more than 10 (for some reason there is no limitation that would hold you back) you will risk to loose the entire account
so 1-10 chars are good, more than 10 are highly dangerous

1: True, remember not to make over 10 chars on 1 ID, use the FL ID Changer you have on my tutorial for installing the new CF version for managing more IDs,

2: also remember there's an item limit per account which can also bug your account... so don't put more stores on 1 account, and separate them from your other chars

3: Check the "installation new version" thread on SWAT to see how to install correctly the new version, and keep the 1.81 for SinglePlayer users ! (even if you will use 1.82 for MP, it has no SP buttons as was told above, so if you want to visit it sometimes... keep 1.81 Razz )

4: Remember not to change or copy anything above the CF installation, neither other weird stuff....

The way to install 1.82 is pretty much the same as 1.81 right, You still need FLMM and the order of installatin is the same yes?
