Well I just screwed up royally and did not save my Accounts folder or whatever, and was helping another player try to trouble shoot a connection problem so I reinstalled everything from scratch to do what he was doing. So.....bye bye Revanchist character and 14 million, bunch of level 10 guns, Wolfhound ship....damn it all to hell I'm pissed. I'm MAKING, not using SA_Revan, my other name will be Bastila. I'm pretty upset and don't feel like playing for a few hours, I'll be back later =/

try search swat for util id changer. if is your id stored somewhere on your pc, it can fid it.

If you didn't already installed and started playing on a new installation of CF on the server, you can still get/use your old ID.
So, it will still work if you arrived to clean install everything again, while you haven't tried to enter the server list.

Search for "Freelancer ID Changer" tool, there might still be 2 names there, but only the one uploaded by Michael (me) works, and has a tutorial for it.

Also, good choice for your avatar now, I prefer it than the other, and it's more reasonable for your char as , male.

Haha, thanks. And eh, it's not a big deal. I mean it kind of is, but I'll just start over. Hopefully I can help this other player trouble shoot an issue and have a battle buddy Hate to say it, but no one ever really seems to want to do missions together, which is what I really long for in the CF MP experience, and why I joined this clan. Not saying you guys don't, I just haven't caught you online yet =P

I also have a question regarding the SA_Revan character I made. As much as I would love to start building that character, I really think I'm to wait until I pass training? And yeah, I need some navigational experience. I want to fly around and explore, without getting shot and killed in 4 hits by an NPC.

yes, first graduation. Next SA tagged chars ... and classics missions are easy to do solo. Where really come handy company is with hunting Ancient Drones and in Inner Core (I mean this for fighting with NPCs).

And I did try to look using FAM, even recovered lost data on my hard drive using NTSF undelete (amazing program btw), nada =/ I guess since I uninstalled the game using the actual uninstaller, it's gone

if you were expecting to recover your old 1.3 chars, forget it, all chars were wiped at 1.8 release last year.

no no ... search thread on swat Sam. Revan tried help other new guy out of connection troubles and due this lost actual made char (next time will be wise save/print/backup ID asap ). ... I not saw many times someone want so much help others!
