Freelancer background : Beaten SP multiple times, have owned Freelancer for about 5 years, just getting back into the swing of things after my last computer didn't seem to like the game. Was around for Crossfire 1.5. Was trained in several different fighting tactics, participated in a few ASF v CSF battles (the name of my former clan escapes me, a commerce based ASF clan that might be defunct now, used to play as Crimson Flame). Admittedly a little rusty, but I'm still getting used to playing on a laptop. Plan to primarily use a Liberty Cruiser.

Hmmmmm, Blair appears to be before my time on CF, I was only on CF since 1.7... So I missed'em by about 2 releases! biggrin

Not positive about the version, it was years ago. I only recognize a few of the clans now (BG, DC, LostProphets). I don't know about now, but back then it was near impossible to dock anywhere when you were using a Capital ship and the cockpit views were messed up in a whole bunch of ships. I guess I might be considered a "vet", but I have to be completely honest. My memory of systems and ships isn't stellar, I'm still getting familiar with everything again, and I'm completely relearning the controls using a laptop instead of a desktop with a mouse and larger keyboard. Dear Mr Blair Jacobs,

The Silver Arrows Command is pleased to receive your application. It looks you are experienced pilot and your application make us feel you could be a great addition to this crew.

We hereby accept you as a Recruit of the SA and, for a period of two weeks, you will submit to the Recruitment Trial Period to eventually pass the Graduation Test and become a regular member of the Silver Arrows. Until then, you shall not use the clan tag (SA_).

I recently had the honor of joining Valechor on a trip to Earth.
We were escorting several individuals, from noob to veteran from Manhattan to Earth.

It was a long trip with a few broken trade lanes, and a few star struck planet dives...
but it was a successful adventure, and introduced several people to places they'd only heard about.

Valechor led the expedition admirably and kept everyone on the same page, and in the same vicinity.
